If your shop handles ADAS recalibration for KIA, Hyundai, or Mazda vehicles, this cone target is a required component for blind spot monitoring (BSM) and front radar calibration. It works in combination with the TEXA RCCS calibration frame (art. S12616) — without both pieces, you cannot complete the OEM-specified static calibration procedure for these platforms.

What This Target Does

ADAS sensors on KIA, Hyundai, and Mazda platforms require manufacturer-specific calibration panels and targets. A generic reflector or substitute panel won't satisfy the OEM calibration routine inside TEXA IDC5 software. This cone target is the specific physical reference point the software is looking for when executing blind spot radar and front radar calibration procedures on covered vehicles.

• Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) Calibration: Provides the required physical target for rear-corner radar calibration on KIA, Hyundai, and Mazda vehicles after sensor replacement, bumper R&R, or suspension work.
• Front Radar Calibration: Also serves as the reference target for front-facing radar systems (used for adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning) on supported KIA and Hyundai models.
• OEM-Specific Design: Shaped and dimensioned to match what TEXA IDC5 software expects for these platforms. Using the wrong target will produce a calibration failure or an out-of-spec result.
• Used With Art. S12616: This cone does not function as a standalone tool. It mounts with or positions relative to the TEXA RCCS frame (S12616). If you don't already have that frame, contact us — we'll make sure you're ordering the complete setup.
