Launch Tech USA Romeo Front Camera Calibration Target — Single Target Configuration (LAM01-11)

The LAM01-11 is a brand-specific front camera calibration target designed for use with the Launch X-431 ADAS calibration system. If your shop works on vehicles requiring a Romeo-pattern target for forward-facing camera calibration, this is the piece that completes the setup. It is not a standalone system — it works in conjunction with the Launch X-431 ADAS frame (mobile or fixed) and the X-431 Throttle Professional scan tool running ADAS software.

This is a single-target configuration. Shops that already own the Launch ADAS frame and need to expand coverage to Romeo-pattern vehicles — or are building out a targeted calibration kit for a specific vehicle mix — will find this the most cost-effective entry point.

What the LAM01-11 Target Does

Forward-facing camera calibration requires placing a precisely manufactured target at a specific distance and height in front of the vehicle, then using the scan tool to command the camera to recognize and lock onto that target. The Romeo-pattern target provides the visual reference the camera's control module needs to complete the calibration routine.

Calibration is required any time the forward camera is disturbed, including:

  • Windshield replacement — the forward camera is mounted to the windshield on most modern vehicles; any glass R&R triggers a recalibration requirement
  • Camera or bracket removal and reinstallation — even a brief disconnect can invalidate the calibration
  • Front-end collision repair — any structural or suspension work that alters vehicle geometry
  • Scan tool-prompted recalibration — some modules set a recalibration flag after battery disconnect or software updates

Who Needs This Target

  • Auto glass shops performing windshield replacements on Romeo-pattern vehicles and running a Launch ADAS system
  • Collision repair centers with a Launch X-431 ADAS frame that need Romeo-pattern coverage in their target library
  • General repair shops expanding ADAS calibration services and adding brand-specific targets incrementally
  • Mobile calibration technicians using the Launch X-431 ADAS Mobile frame who need a lightweight, single-target addition

Compatibility and System Requirements

The LAM01-11 is designed for use with the Launch X-431 ADAS calibration frame — both the standard and Mobile (foldable) versions. It requires the X-431 Throttle Professional scan tool with active ADAS software to execute the calibration procedure. Exact vehicle make/model/year coverage for the Romeo pattern is confirmed through the Launch ADAS software's vehicle selection menu. Contact us for the current vehicle coverage list before purchasing if you have a specific model in mind.

Single Target vs. Package Configurations

Launch sells the Romeo calibration target in both single-target (this listing) and multi-target package configurations (Pro Plus, Mobile Plus, Premium, Deluxe, Standard). Here is how to decide:

  • Buy this single target if you already own a Launch ADAS frame and need to add Romeo-pattern coverage without purchasing a full kit
  • Buy a package configuration if you are building out a full ADAS calibration station and want multiple targets bundled at a better per-target price
  • Check your current target inventory — if you already cover Romeo-pattern vehicles with another target in your kit, confirm with Launch or with us before ordering

What's in the Box

  • LAM01-11 Romeo front camera calibration target panel (single target)
  • Mounting hardware for use with the Launch X-431 ADAS frame
  • Storage/carrying case (confirm with us if case inclusion applies to your order)

Note: The X-431 ADAS frame, wheel clamps, scan tool, and ADAS software license are sold separately. If you need the complete system, call us and we will configure the right bundle for your shop.
