ADAS Diagnostic Tools

Shipping & Delivery

ADAS Diagnostic Tools ships professional calibration and diagnostic equipment throughout the United States. This page explains how and when your order ships, how risk of loss transfers, and what to do if your shipment arrives damaged.

Areas Served

We ship to commercial and business addresses within the United States. Some freight items may not be deliverable to all locations; we will confirm at checkout or order processing.

Processing Times

We aim to process and ship in-stock orders within 1–3 business days. Large or freight items, custom-configured systems, and special orders may require additional lead time, which we will communicate after your order.

Consistent with the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 435), if we cannot ship within the time we promised (or within 30 days if no time was stated), we will notify you and offer the option to consent to a delay or cancel for a full refund.

Standard vs. Freight / LTL Shipping

  • Standard shipping applies to smaller items such as scan tools and accessories, shipped by parcel carrier.
  • Freight / LTL (less-than-truckload) shipping applies to large or heavy equipment such as calibration frames, alignment machines, and target stands. Freight deliveries may require:
    • A scheduled delivery appointment
    • A loading dock or liftgate (note any site limitations when ordering)
    • Someone available to receive and inspect the shipment

Shipping costs for freight items are calculated based on size, weight, and destination and will be confirmed before your order ships.

Title and Risk of Loss

Unless your written order states otherwise, shipments are made F.O.B. Origin (Ham Lake, MN). Under Minnesota’s Uniform Commercial Code (Minn. Stat. § 336.2-509), this means title and risk of loss pass to the buyer when the goods are delivered to the carrier. We strongly recommend confirming carrier insurance for high-value items.

Delivery Inspection & Damage Claims

Freight equipment is high-value and must be inspected at the time of delivery. Before signing the delivery receipt:

  1. Inspect all packaging, pallets, and crating for visible damage.
  2. Count the pieces against the bill of lading / packing slip.
  3. Note any damage or shortage in writing on the delivery receipt before signing, and take photographs.
  4. If damage is severe, you may refuse the shipment — note the reason on the delivery receipt.

Report concealed or visible damage to us at support@adasdiagnostictools.com or 866-217-0063 within 48 hours of delivery. Signing a clean delivery receipt without noting damage can limit your ability to recover from the freight carrier, so please inspect carefully.
