What is ADAS?

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and refer to a variety of new vehicle safety technologies or safety systems that help the drivers in the driving process in order to increase vehicles and road safety

Some examples: blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, collision-mitigation systems, adaptive cruise control, etc.

How? Through radars, lidars, cameras, computer imaging, sensors, networking, etc.

Why is the ADAS calibration important?

If these systems are not properly calibrated, the vehicle may respond too late or incorrectly to systems designed to provide early warnings. Cameras and sensors must be precisely calibrated to provide an accurate reading that enables the system to function properly.
